A/C repair tech returned to a home goods store in Thousand Oaks, California, to complete approved repairs on the Trane package units. Two units needed new capacitors, RTU #1 needed a leak repair on the first stage, and unit #3 needed the condesner fan motor replaced. Our technician completed the repairs as quoted, confirmed that all units were up and running well again except for RTU #3. Will need to return with a guard for the condenser fan motor shaft, but store is cooling for now.
Belt replacements needed at a specialty imports supplier in Westlake Village, CA. Both the Carrier air conditioners had bad belts found on teh recent maintenance. Our technician swapped both belts, tested and confirm no other units in alarm with EMS.
RESSAC a/c technician arrived at a Thousand Oaks, CA, home goods store to investigate a water leak. Pinpointed the issue, condensate drain was plugged with debris. Cleaned and blew out line to resolve water leak. While onsite noted the #8 Trane air conditioner was making a loud humming noise. Found the blower motor failing, also will need to replace bearings and pulley. Will quote additional repairs to the customer.
Thousand Oaks a/c tech arrived at a vitamin store to investigate one of the units making a loud noise. Unit had been powered down to stop the noise and would no longer turn back on. Our technician discovered that the transformer had failed, was able to source and replace. Also found that the drive belt had torn, which had caused the original noise complaint. Unit working again after transformer and belt replacement.

After troubleshooting, pinpointed the issue to a fan relay not correctly wired to the board. Defrosted unit, fixed wiring, adjusted air handler for better pitch. Unit up and running again.
