Dispatched our local technician to a beauty store in Pasadena, California, for their major fall maintenance. After changing filters and completing full heating season inspections, all drain lines were cleared to prevent leaks. PM complete.
Preventative maintenance scheduled for a commercial property in LA County today. All Lennox air conditioners onsite were given a full fall inspection, including air filter changes, belt replacements, and heating tuneup and checks. All units operational, will be reporting minor issues found on several units with pitted contactors. PM complete.
A retailer on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, California, reported a water leak coming from the ceiling. Upon arrival, our technician found the chilled water return line leaking from a screw. After isolating the line, the tech found that the stem was cracked. As it was not in use, the technician replaced it with a hex cap and sealed the opening. Opened up the isolation valves and verified that the leak was resolved. Cleaned up area and disposed of water buckets. Job complete.
Dispatched our Pasadena California area technician to a coffee shop to complete approved HVAC repairs. Their split York system needed the capacitor replaced. After completing approved work, our technician found the commercial unit was low on refrigerant. Added dye to the system, will need to return once dye has passed through and continue leak searching.

Returned to a retailer on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, CA, to work with the maintenance crew on chiller water temperature. Property management was in charge of the water temperature, and our technician walked through the current issues our store was experiencing. Despite outside temperatures, property had only 1 out of 4 chillers running, with a 44 degree water temp. Maintenance agreed to try some minor temperature adjustments to assist our store with the humidity/heat. Our tech also spoke to the store, advised them that keep their front door opens all day is not best practice and can reduce cooling efficiency. Measured all space temps to report, will monitor situation and check in with mall management after adjustments to water temp have been made.
Quoted air conditioning repairs were scheduled today at a commercial customer in Pasadena California. Our technician replaced the freeze stat safety switch for the #7 Lennox system. Cycled and tested unit after making repairs, and checked out with EMS to confirm no more alarms onsite. Job complete.

Upon arrival, found their main kitchen ice machine with a locked dispenser motor, clogged ice bin drain, and missing screws on the cabinet cover. Shut the unit down to prevent leaking, will source and quote necessary parts to make repairs.
Responded to an emergency AC call at a health store with a unit in communication loss. Upon arrival and after completing troubleshooting, our technician found that the commercial Carrier unit had blown fuses and was low on refrigerant. Wires had come off of the condenser fan motor relay and had to be reconnected. Will need to quote a return visit to perform a leak search, repair, and a coil washing. Unit is working partially at this time, will quote the return.
A loan store in Pasadena California called in to report their AC unit was no longer cooling. Our technician found the commercial BDP split system with a tripped circuit breaker. After inspecting all electrical components, the tech traced the problem to a shorted wire that he replaced. Reset breaker and unit is functional again with a 58 degree supply. This is an older unit, approaching 30 years. Will send a replacement recommendation to the customer as well, job complete and site cooling at this time.

Upon arrival, our tech removed and replaced the faulty circuit board, tested and ran the unit. System providing a 20 degree temperature split. Working at capacity now.
Our local technician arrived at a home goods store in Pasadena, California, to inspect one of their commercial air conditioners that was reading high supply temperatures. Tech diagnosed unit #2 with a faulty TXV that would not open. Will need to replace TXV and filter drier, and inspect compressor after making repairs.
