Riverside county refrigeration technician returned to a family center to investigate an ice machine that had failed again. Troubleshooted system, found the control board fuse had blown out, compressor capacitor had failed. Went to local parts house while waiting on call back from manufacturer and obtained new fuses, capacitor and hard start kit, replacing components. New fuse blew out again. Tech support called tech back and after troubleshooting confirmed control board had failed again. Customer has already been quoted a new unit, system has had multiple part failures already.
RESSAC technician dispatched to a home goods store in Riverside county. Site was scheduled for routine spring HVAC maintenance. Tech changed filters and belts, washed coils and tested equipment. Found three Lennox air conditioners low on refrigerant. Will report and quote repairs to the customer.
Dispatched our Murrieta, CA, area technician to complete approved repairs at a family center. The Goodman air conditioner needed a noisy contactor and failed repeater replaced. The tech arrived and checked in first with the Pelican EMS support staff, confirmed signal strength for party room was poor. Was able to resolve after resetting the remote thermostat. Proceeded to complete the pre-approved repairs. Units back up and running.
RESSAC technician was dispatched to a family center in Riverside county. The technician inspected the Goodman air conditioner, troubleshooting the Pelican EMS system with tech support. Pinpointed the intermittent cooling problem to a WR400 repeater not installed, causing a weak signal. Also recommended replacing a noisy contactor before failure. Completed report for quoting to the customer, unit cooling at this time.
RESSAC service technician responded to a report of the party room at a family entertainment center not cooling properly. Tech arrived and tested AC #2. He found the system cooling and the space at 70 degrees with a supply temperature of 49 degrees. Additional testing found the control system not functioning correctly. Controls would not allow system to turn on as scheduled. A temporary thermostat was installed to provide the site with cooling until the controls issue could be resolved.
Commercial a/c tech was dispatched to a party store in Murrieta, CA. He fully inspected the 10 ton Goodman HVAC responsible for the space. Unit was found working normally, supply and space temperatures. Issues were reported occurring only in the morning, site noted for monitoring if problems reoccurred.
Refrigeration technician arrived at commercial weight loss center to perform a leak search and repair for a Traulsen reach-in freezer. He found the leak on the discharge side of the unit. He repaired the leak by pressurizing the unit and restored the freezer back to a working condition.
