Coffee shop on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles reported an issue with their display cooler. Water was pooling underneath the unit. Troubleshooting found a plugged drain and overflowing condensate pan. Condenser coil was very dirty. Cleaned out the drain line, pan and evaporator coil. System working well otherwise, no additional work needed.
Quote repairs were scheduled at a high fashion brand store in Los Angeles. The Bryant air conditioner needed a new contactor, and all the units needed their coils cleaned. The technician completed as quoted work, and also seal the ductwork on the roof at the joints. Tested all equipment, units are in working order and no other issues found.
RESSAC technician was dispatched to a luxury goods store in Los Angeles, California, to perform a thorough AC maintenance. All amps, wiring, and parts checked, heating side confirmed operational. Filters were swapped. Tech did find the Bryant air conditioner with a bad capacitor and pitted contactor that will need to be replaced. Both units need their coils cleaned. Will quote these issues, as well as a re-sealing of the exposed ductwork on the roof that's letting water into the space when it rains.
AC repair tech arrived at a home goods store in Encino, CA, to complete approved repairs. Lennox unit #3 had its failed blower assembly removed, entire assembly replaced including motor, pulley, belts. System tested after repairs made, unit working well. No other problems to report.
RESSAC technician arrived at a Sunset Boulevard, LA, coffee shop to perform routine air conditioning maintenance. Replaced the filters, checked all electrical components and confirmed heating side ready for winter. Noted that condenser coils were dirty, noted and will recommend washing to customer.
AC repair technician arrived at an office building on Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, to make approved repairs on their York unit. Tech performed a leak search on the system, inspecting the condenser coil carefully as there were signs of oil leaking. Pressurized the system and found several leaks. Leaks were repaired and system re-tested, confirmed no more refrigerant leaks. Unit was vacuumed and recharged, cooling restored.
Los Angeles county AC tech returned to a pet hotel to complete approved repairs. Replaced a bad blower motor and wheel on a Carrier unit, contactors, transformers and capacitors on two Trane air conditioners, and installed a temporary thermostat for the Carrier split system. Split system is waiting on a UCM board for the controls but will work fine for now with the temp thermostat. Tested equipment and confirmed proper operations. Systems cooling and site comfortable again.
RESSAC AC technician arrived at an eyeglass store in West Hollywood, California, in response to a "no cooling" report. Found the unit's blower door off. Replaced the blower door and inspected the system: amps, refrigerant levels, electrical. All working normally now, site cooling.
Los Angeles area HVAC technician performed preventative maintenance service at a video production location. Replaced filters, checked motors, capacitors, contactors and coils. Ran and cycled the unit and blew out the drain lines, confirmed Pelican EMS system was operating normally. PM completed and site running well.
Los Angeles area technician returned to complete repairs at a pet hotel. The two Trane split systems had been left off overnight to defrost after being fully iced over. HVAC tech replaced the clogged filters that had restricted air flow, tested and confirmed AC units were working well again. No leaks at this time.
AC repair tech dispatched to complete approved repairs at a cell phone store in Panorama City, CA. Our technician replaced two weak motor capacitors on the #1 Trane unit, and a pitted contactor on the Trane split system. Tested all units, equipment running and site cool.
RESSAC repair tech dispatched to investigate reported maintenance issues at home goods store in Sherman Oaks, California. Inspected all the equipment: noted unit #3 missing bolts from the motor base, adjusted pulleys on all the units, and found the coils in need of a full chemical wash. Took photos, compiled a report to bring to the customer and quote for repairs.
Los Angeles area A/C technician returned to a cell phone store to perform approved repairs. The tech repaired the Carrier package unit that needed a new condenser fan motor and blower capacitor. He also installed new capacitors on unit #2B. Units up and running, site cooling again.
Commercial HVAC tech dispatched to a approved repair in Van Nuys, CA. Both the Carrier and York air conditioners onsite needed their drain lines re-pitched and blocking fixed. Technician completed repairs, also replacing the insulation on the inside of the blower doors. Both units draining well again, drain lines secure.
